SynergyX uses a 5-tier emission curve that halves at supply milestones, not time intervals. The block reward starts at 12 SYNX and decreases through five tiers to zero at the 77.7 million cap. The 77.7 million hard cap is enforced in the source code by static_assert - the software will not compile if the cap is modified. Combined with four independent burn mechanisms, SynergyX becomes net-deflationary after the cap is reached.

Each halving triggers when the total supply reaches a predefined milestone. The chain monitors its own supply and adjusts the reward when the threshold is crossed.

Four Burn Mechanisms - Active Deflation
The supply cap alone does not create scarcity. SynergyX creates scarcity through four independent burn mechanisms that permanently destroy coins:
- Dragon Burn: 0.65% of every block reward is destroyed before the miner receives payment. On a 12 SYNX block, the miner gets 11.922 SYNX. Applies to every block, permanently.
- Faith Proof: One-time burn of 5 SYNX to begin mining. Sent to the SXFuneralPyre address (no private key). Triggers at an unannounced block early in the first mining session. Irreversible.
- Transaction Burn: 0.25% of miner fee revenue, voided by the daemon rather than paid out. Dormant until circulating supply passes 50 million SYNX. User sends carry no fee and no burn.
- Oracle Burn: 1 SYNX burned after every 10 conversations with the Quantum CyberTiger AI Oracle. Alternative: 24-hour cooldown. FlameScore 50+ grants a growing bypass chance.
Supply Projections - Minted vs Circulating
The combined effect of emission and burns creates a growing gap between total minted and actual circulating supply:

After the 77.7M cap, the block reward is zero - there is no tail emission - while the transaction and Oracle burns keep destroying coins. The circulating supply actively shrinks. A safety floor at 10 million SYNX automatically disables all burns if supply drops below that threshold.
The Kyber Encapsulated Seal
When a miner completes the Faith Proof burn, the protocol produces the Kyber Encapsulated Seal - a cryptographic identity proof that unlocks permanent mining access.
